Go BIG RED!!!

I keep hoping that the bloggers, reporters, blog respondents in this town will be fair to our youth in their representation of news stories that surround them.

Let there be a shooting, a rumor of a shooting or any other ill-thwart activity about our city's children, and I guarantee you it would have made front page Blogville. Let there be anything that highlights gloom and doom over this city and invariably you will have our city's bloggers kicking it around.

It says a lot about them and the people who respond with illegitimate postings and comments.

I can never let them block my view of the wonderful things our youth are doing, and I will NEVER let them pretend that they care when what they do and write about does absolutely nothing to bring hope back into our city.

Plainfield High School Cardinals brought back the TROPHY! Congratulations to the coach, the team and to the community who went out in full force to support this endeavor.

Keep Rising To Top!! A fan always and forever!

  1. OK. Congratulations to the Cardinals. Job well done! Now I have to ask why you find it necessary to give them praise with your right hand while with your left you jab other bloggers and "people who respond with illegitimate postings and comments"? If you want to go that route, how about giving us some examples of what may be illegitimate? Is false hope and faith any less illegitimate? Is wearing rose-colored glasses the best way to go through life? Does it not distort your view of what changes are required in any number of instances?

  2. Alan you've been around the circuit circus long enough, and have submitted your own comments here and there so you are privy to what people say --- I won't regurgitate here.

But to humor you ... let’s take your spurious congratulations. That is about as illegitimate as they come. Expected -- indeed, but illegitimate all the same.

Certainly false hope and faith are very illegitimate – ooh but the the Power and Strength in REAL Hope and REAL Faith!

It’s sad that you move in terms of extremes. Hope is not about rose colored anything…in fact it is the POWER to believe beyond what people present as “their” dark colored glasses.

Change without a commitment to being a part of the change, is like Faith without works – It’s DEAD!

    Next time duck!

  3. Put the phrase 'statement of fact' into your vocabulary', learn what it means and how to use it. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

It's nice that our kids are define by their athletic prowess but it would be better if they were defined by their intellectual prowess.

  4. Are the two mutually exclusive? Free your mind and the rest will follow. Fact!
