Message For The Day!

There are 3 Types of People in Our Lives. All of them have a purpose.
  1. Confidants
  2. Constituents
  3. Comrades
Do You Know Who Yours Are?

Don't Confuse their purpose or position in your life!

Stay The Course!

I just want to say thank you to my Plainfield family for not getting sucked into the garbage and for recognizing the difference between authentic concerns and whining!

A tree will always bear the fruit of its labor. Keep Watching!

Food For Thought...

What if communities or state and government offices offered tax deductions and tax relief incentives for people to volunteer in the community they live in to make a difference in it…

By Any Means Necessary!

Get Involved, Stay Involved – Each One Reach One and Teach One!

And on a very Special Note:

Happy Birthday to My Daddy! I pray you many, many more!

The Power of "I"

The Usual:
  1. What is Plainfield doing…
  2. Has Plainfield thought about…
  3. Is Plainfield going to…
  4. It’s about time Plainfield does…
  5. What Plainfield needs to do is...

 **********************

What if:
  1. What am I doing for Plainfield…
  2. I think I can help Plainfield by…
  3. I will help improve Plainfield by going…
  4. It’s about time I start to help Plainfield…
  5. I can help with what Plainfield needs...
*********************
No Wonder!

“The Profound Pronoun -- “I” often the object of wants, rarely the subject of initiating change!”

Notice who and how the images of Plainfield are being captured and portrayed.  Notice who and how people are involved in Plainfield's up-keep, advancement, demise, development, and destruction.

Take notice...watch.

We Need 50,000 More like her...

I wanted to dedicate this post to a very hard working and active community member! I’ve had the opportunity to speak with her once or twice, and have heard or read her “hold no punches” style of advocacy. These are the type of folks we NEED in Plainfield. People who will Talk about it and BE about it!

She is part of the Save Muhlenberg initiative and provides a steady stream of information regarding the fight to get the city, state and government to do the RIGHT THING by the residence of Plainfield and surrounding communities that have been served by Muhlenberg for decades!

I love her passion and commitment to this cause, and most of all I RESPECT her resolve to BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION! That’s what people who care do… THEY DO SOMETHING! It is NOT enough to say something or write something or complain about something – to change something YOU must DO SOMETHING!

So – Dottie Gutenkauf – this Blog post's is for you – for all you do! Thank You! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

Please take a look at the article regarding the potential use of the Muhlenberg property as printed by the Courier News yesterday.

If you are interested in joining the Save Muhlenberg initiative, or would like more information about what they do and/or what they need; please contact Dottie at dottiegutenkauf@gmail.com.
