  1. Although well intended, the original picture featured MLK with LBJ.They worked together
together to get the Civil Rights bill passed.
'Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.'

  2. You are correct! However the artist's rendition here, at least in my humble opinion, is more indicative of the proliferation of "A DREAM" come true. And thus, my reason for posting it on such a profound day in OurStory!

  3. Renata, once again I am reluctant to disagree with you. The Civil Rights movement was not a racial "OurStory",. It and MLK are "America's Story" and part of growing maturity which we still have not found since there is obvious too much racial and religious hatred manisfested today. MLK belongs to all of America. There were also whites who died fighting the cause, don't ignore that.

To exploit in any way racial differences is an insult to MLK's emory.
There is no need to post this

  4. Don't worry about disagreeing with me but rather you should apologize for misinterpreting me. When I said OurStory I meant the America. I didn't say the Black Story, or My ancestries story -- I said OURStory. Now who is being Soooooooo sensitive.

    Get a grip!

  5. And for the LAST time YOU do NOT get to decide what I write, say or otherwise. Got it...get it -- GOOD.

And for the record BOTH my maternal and paternal GRANDMOTHERS were 1/4 and 1/2 WHITE respectively. OK! Confounded! I am so sick of YOU deciding what I mean instead of just frigging asking me.

And whether you like it or not white and black is OURStory!

  6. WHO HAS A CHIP? That was intended to be a personal communication but you are making it a public issue. If I misunderstood you I do apologize which is more than you ever do without some smart remark.
I think in the context of your reply to Nat, my interpretation is justified.

  7. What good does an apology mean if it is as hollow as your words. Keep it! It doesn't change my Christmas card list any!

And so two black people can't converse and the word OURStory be said without it being considered exclusionary?

If you wanted it private you should have emailed it to me!

You are being utterly ridiculous! Me and Nat agree on NOTHING ever!!! So why all of a sudden would I Pal up with him? Come on now!! Absolute Rubbish!!!

And don't write back. Do what you do best and blah, blah BLOG about it.

    Justify that!
