SERVICE is an honorable charge in a sometimes dishonorable and uncivilized atmosphere. It’s thankless, and tiresome! BUT for the sake of this city's children and their FUTURE -- I shall serve and serve with my whole heart. I shall “Stand in the Gap” until the educational system in this fair city provides for the edification, preparation and self-actualization of each and every student in Plainfield Public Schools.
Now that you have a new Board to work with and hoping this is the "correct" one, could we please now starting seeing each and every Board member that are attending the meeting come in to their meetings with a their facial expressions showing that they are together as a body and not displaying so much body language that the public can sense that they are not all in one accord. Body language shows much. Thanks and have a great year and let's get the job (s) done in peace and harmony "for the children."
ReplyDeleteDear Anon -- I can only speak for myself, but if I disagree with something or someone -- I'm not "pretending" it is any different.
ReplyDeleteMy objective is not to NOT show emotions to students (my daughter) but rather how to work through the difference despite how you may feel to get the work done. WE do that --whether we grin or grimace.
I can disagree and still maintain civility -- the energy however must be worked out the body some how. So it may be a twitch, or grimace I'll owe it.
