Moving Forward...It's a Good LOOK for PPS!

Having been one who took issue with Plainfield Public Schools’ lack of providing parents with an appropriate list of school supplies -- I'm glad to see that for the 2nd Year -- they have continued to provide this necessary assistance to their community.

I appreciate the continued efforts!

I also want to commend the PR Department and Web Master for their continuous updates of critical information, news and events to ensure the public remains ‘in-the-know’.

Despite the ‘negative nuisances’ that continue to plague our public schools, these incremental improvements are moving this district towards a more inclusive, productive and well-rounded school district.

Keep Up The Good Work!

And finally, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Burkholder (for the invitation) and to the teaching staff at Jefferson School for their warm reception and willingness to give me a moment of their time to welcome them back to where minds, bodies and spirits will be nurtured and prepared for the 21st Century.

I also had an opportunity to stop in at PAAAS during their student orientation scavenger hunt. It was a FULL HOUSE! There is NOTHING –not-a-thing- better than hearing the excited shrieks and rushed pitter pattered feet (forbidden to break into a full run) of children in the halls of higher learning.

I received Evergreen’s September schedule in my Friday packet last evening -- so I’ll be making my way over to my other school in short order to their welcome back picnic and back to school night.

“If I’m going to lose sleep over anything – let it be because of the anticipation of seeing the wide-eyed and excited grins on the faces of our children as they enter into the doorway of possibilities at Plainfield Public Schools!” (RAH)
